In the way back of 2008, GSS evolved a state level network of NGOs who were addressing Global warming. More than 30 NGOs joined in the Network. In the respective districts programmes relating to Global warming were implemented. The main focus of the Network was to sensitise the people about Global warming and educating about how to reduce carbon. The FEE forest Fund Organisation, Denmark, supported our network members to implement programmes in their respective regions. 

In collaboration with the National Social Service units in schools in Tamilnadu and Tamilnadu pollution cotrol board, we conducted various educational and awareness creation programmes. For three years the Network functioned in a strong and speedy manner and latter, it was resolved to dissolve the network so that each NGO might work in their respective region independently.
