Our GSS was given a rare opportunity to prolong its meritorious service in another state also. When this programme was going on successfully in Tamil Nadu, the Haurralde Foundation came forward to support us to implement their project in Gujarat which was not able to be implemented by thier partner in Gujarat. 

There they funded to GSS for the child sponsorship programme and educational programme for mentally challenged children for two years. We implemented these programmes successfully and it was one more feather on our cap. We should thankfully remember the support of Ms. Patricia, Director of Haurralde foundation and the volunteers from Spain, who visited our Service Centre in Gujarat in order to guide and evaluate our project implementation.

Another notable person who helped and supported for the grand success of this project was Mr. P. Karunakaran. His selfless services and sincere efforts which moulded us should be recorded honestly and promptly. So, it is our gain that we extended our successful horizon towards the regions of other state also.
