Further, some environmental related activities were implemented with the support of CPR Foundation in the year 1995, in order to create awareness among the agrarian community in and around Karambakkudi. Following this, three awareness and educational programmes were conducted so as to benefit the backward community which involved in agricultural works. regard NYK, Pudukkottai had kindly and timely extended an invitation to GSS to start an Adult Education Centre at Kilikkudi. As per this project, an Adult Education School was started in Kilikkudi village in the year 1995. During the following years, GSS had strengthened itself in its infrastructural capacities which attracted the Government Departments and other Donors in Abroad to create partnership with GSS.
