In 2008, Grama Seva Sangam (GSS) initiated district-level programs addressing the growing concern of global warming. The primary objective of these programs was to sensitize communities about climate change and educate them on practical ways to reduce carbon emissions.
With the support of the FEE Forest Fund Organisation, Denmark, GSS and its network members successfully implemented environmental awareness initiatives across various regions. These programs aimed to build a strong understanding of sustainable practices among the public.
